OUR HISTORY and your Donation
In August 2003, I traveled to Haiti to
spend time at two infectious disease treatment centers in
Port-au-Prince, Haiti: Grace Children’s Hospital (GCH) and GHESKIO.
My reason for taking that trip was to locate a site to return the
following year to collect data for my Master’s thesis. On my third day
of a 4-day rotation at the Grace Children’s Hospital, I met Valcuse, a
13 year-old HIV-positive girl who was living in the courtyard of the
hospital. I was introduced to Valcuse by two women who later became
key players in saving lives of HIV-positive orphans in Haiti. Here is Valcuse’s story.
**Please, consider
supporting us financially. ALL financial contributions you give, go to benefit the children directly. As the
project’s founder and director, I do not earn a cent from this mission.
My only satisfaction is to see that these HIV+ abandoned children are loved and
receive decent care. I'm selective in whom I hire to
provide direct care to them. Please, make Your voices heard, by supporting
CHOAIDS financially. All your contributions
are tax-deductible since we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
This organization is so small that any amount you give can make a difference.
So, just give. Jesus will thank you.
