Caring for Haitian Orphans with AIDS, or CHOAIDS, is a nonprofit founded by Marie Denis-Luque. On her quest to discover a suitable research site in Haiti for her studies in public health she met a young girl at Grace Children's Hospital. After hearing the girls story, Marie's heart was moved. Five months after meeting the girl, CHAOIDS was born December, 2003. Now CHOAIDS is home to 23 HIV+ orphaned children and constantly growing. Many challenges have come and gone. Many will continue to plague us, but our committment to our mission is stronger than ever.
Mission: To enhance the quality of life for HIV+ orphaned children and women through education and care in a family-centered environment.

To promote CHOAIDS as the standard of care for HIV+ neglected and abandoned children.
